12th Annual Cave Run Storytelling Festival
Enjoy magical storytelling by the eight master storytellers like Bill Lepp, Ernie Stiles (I think I hear yodeling), Regi Carpenter, and Rev Robert Jones participating on Friday and Saturday inside the big tent located in the Twin Knobs campground at Cave Run Lake, off highway 801. I am laughing already, just reading who will be performing. They are the best and have appeared at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesboro. Founder Carolyn Franchini can be heard every Sunday on public radio 90.3 WMKY at 4pm with storytellers of accalim. Listen to her show and come to the festival!
Visit the winery while you are in town, but do not miss the storytelling. Their website is caverunstoryfest.org. The CCC Trail Vineyard is proud to be your host for transporting you to another time and place the rest of the year, but for this special weekend, we bow to one of the greatest events of all Kentucky. DO NOT MISS the 12th Annual Cave Run Storytelling Festival!
